Safeguarding disclaimer
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Use the reporting route set by your employer and act immediately when a child may be at risk.
If there is immediate danger
Call emergency services first, then follow your employer’s emergency and safeguarding procedure. Do not wait for a course, a manager or an online form.
During a journey
Keep professional boundaries, protect privacy, use calm communication, and report concerns or changes to the office promptly. Never investigate, promise secrecy, take photographs, or share passenger details in this site.
Course responsibility
The lessons give practical reminders and scenarios. They cannot assess a child, replace a safeguarding lead, or decide what happened in a real incident. When unsure, report through the agreed route and record facts, not guesses.
